This is the only single faculty science college in Jiwati Tahsil located in remote tribal and naxal affected region of district Chandrapur (Maharashtra), was established in the year 2009 at Jiwati, about 100 km towards south-east from the Chandrapur city and which is remotest tribal area of the Chandrapur district of the Vidarbha region in the Maharashtra. The college is spread in a campus of 03 acres and run the UG degree program Bachelor of science which is affiliated to the Gondawana University, Gadchiroli. This grant-in-aid private organization has been engaged in the education field to provide proper and true scientific knowledge to the tribal and poor students of this remote area in Chandrapur district. The vision is to confer the scientific attitude among the tribal community residing in and around the Jiwati Tehsil, so that, blind faith, superstitions, backwardness and poverty may be eliminated and the tribal students will develop scientific skills among them and nurture the community with their excellence .
There is a good rapport between the students and the faculty as well as the other staff members. The College outreaches to the widest range of students from backward as well as remote tribal area. The college is committed to provide excellence in education and pursuit of knowledge through the learning in academic and extracurricular activities, developing strong moral values and sound physical ability.
